The romantic comedy "Kettle of Fish" written and directed by Claudia Myers (BK '94) is currently in theaters in NYC and Brooklyn. The film stars Matthew Modine and Gina Gershon, with a terrific supporting cast that includes Fisher Stevens, Isiah Whitlock, Jr, and Eddie Kaye Thomas. The movie premiered to sold-out audiences at the Tribeca Film Festival this spring. The story: When womanizing musician Mel (MATTHEW MODINE) tries settling down with a nice girl, he sublets his apartment to Ginger, a plucky frog biologist (GINA GERSHON). Single again just days later, Mel is forced to shack up with Ginger as a guest in his own home. Sparks fly between them when Mel falls head over heels for a beautiful yogurt heiress--at her own wedding--and Ginger's disapproval starts turning into something more. But it will take the stubborn affection between a frog and a goldfish to answer the biggest question: is Mel capable of long-term pair bonding?
