Cupcake is the reading series for New York's best women writers. Founded by Elizabeth Merrick (CC 94) with two friends in June 2003, it was recently selected as "Best of New York" by The Village Voice. At the next edition of the monthly series, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie ("Purple Hibiscus") and Martha Witt ("Broken As Things Are") will read from their work on Tuesday, November 9th at 7:30pm.
