I'm stuck. I need something to change but I can't get the needle to move. Do you know the feeling? Some process, person or product just won't deliver the outcome I need.

The key to changing is realizing this. All behaviors stem from our deeper beliefs. Not what we say we believe, but what we actually believe to be the truth of how things should be. Being stuck is a symptom that our deeper beliefs need an overhaul.

But how do we sort through the jumble of beliefs inside our mind and find the ones to fix. Doesn't it sound like tuning a Ferrari engine while the car is racing? (Btw: That's another crazy belief!)

Unsticking becomes so much easier when we realize that our beliefs lie at our inner spiritual core. Letting go of outdated beliefs means surrendering the lower ones and focusing on the higher ones. In my case it always means surrendering my self-needy beliefs in favor of knowing that there is a greater purpose for my work, that I don't need to have all the answers, that I can trust God and respect all religions.

When I go to that surrendered place, the calm, confident power to change fills me.  I become ready to relinquish and let go. People respond to me far better. I become more receptive to new ideas. The positive upward spiral of change begins. It's not an end to the road, it's just a bend.

This morning, think of where your job or career is stuck and get yourself spiritually prepared to go round the bend. How? By using the simple inner core management tools of A New Equilibrium. What are they? Look here.
