Dear A New Equilibrium Colleagues and Friends,

As a leader who has been along for at least part of our ANE journey, you are already comfortable with spirituality's workplace value. We know that keeping our spiritual core centered and acting in accordance with our values and beliefs provides a powerful and empowering leadership approach. Each of us has experienced the quiet joy of a workplace in the zone.

Sometimes though, the challenges and problems of work and personal life can become unrelenting. Illness, fear of layoff, family or parenting issues, long-term unemployment, difficult people relationships and the constant drive to perform can lead to a corrosive workplace, a loss of work-life balance and a challenge to sustain our spirit and resilience. During these extended struggles, we are tempted to hunker down, husband our strength and conserve our spiritual resources. Prudent, yes? Not.

When it comes to Spirituality, throw out what you learned in economics. The laws of supply and demand do not apply to sustaining our spirit. In fact, spirituality is more like software and ideasthe more you use them, the more valuable they become!  Spiritual sustainability isn't about conserving our use of spirituality. Spirituality grows or expands through use! It is exciting to realize that the thing we need most when times are toughest is available in abundant supply.

Come to A New Equilibrium's dinner event on August 23rd and share ideas about sustaining your spiritual leadership journey. Friendship, encouragement and support will be in near-infinite supply for a mere $55 per person including dinner.
